Here's my final-final post on the evolution of the cover for my forthcoming novel, The Big Wake-Up.The Bleak House Books designer has had her say with the wonderful Owen Smith illustration, creating a classic, pulp-fictionish look for the title and author credit:
Reminds me of the 1976 Vintage Books edition of The High Window, the very first Raymond Chandler novel I read, way back in college:
